About Shalom Baltimore

Did you know that almost half the Jews living in Baltimore did not grow up here?

Shalom Baltimore was created to welcome people to the area and help them get connected with Baltimore's Jewish community. We are part of THE ASSOCIATED: Jewish Community Federation of Baltimore.

When you contact Shalom Baltimore, you'll be matched with a volunteer who lives close to you and has similar interests. The volunteer will bring you a welcome basket and tell you more about opportunities to get involved.

One of the best parts about the Baltimore Jewish community is our diversity! We have synagogues and programs representing every denomination, so you're sure to find people who share your experience.
