Chapter Two, a 10-month educational and engagement program, recruits women
who are at a stage in their lives when they are looking to grow as Jewish
women. Participants learn about themselves, are educated about THE ASSOCIATED
and our agencies, take part in experiential learning and hands-on
social action and “capture their passion and turn it into
action.”
Dor Tikvah - Women of Hope, Leaders for the Future, is a two-year leadership
development program that caters to women ages 30-45 who aspire to hold key
positions within THE ASSOCIATED and the Baltimore Jewish community. Dor Tikvah
draws its inspiration from the Jewish traditions of tzedakah (social
justice) and tikkun olam (repairing the world). Through fundraising,
educational programs, community service projects and agency observation
experiences, participants develop an understanding of THE ASSOCIATED and
Baltimore’s organized Jewish community and the importance of women’s
philanthropy.
The Jewish Heritage Series provides an opportunity to learn from
