As a founder of JWGF, I feel that the Foundation affords women the opportunity to be personally vested as they direct where their dollars will be utilized. Educationally we have become proficient at reading requests, going on site visits and following up with our grantees to ensure that we make an impact.

Welcome. Your Journey Starts Here.

You are now a part of a group of women joined in the spirit of philanthropy who are making a difference in the lives of women and girls—right here at home, in Israel, and around the globe.  JWGF will enlighten you.  Educate you.  Empower you.  And help you make a difference.

JWGF’s Commitment to You

The Executive Committee and our current members are very excited to have you as a part of our group.  We encourage you to participate fully in the grant cycle process.  Our grant cycle has been developed to give all of our members the opportunity to become educated about issues that impact women and girls in the Jewish community and our community-at-large.

Our group is made up of interesting, intelligent women who are passionate about philanthropy and making our world a better place.

We encourage you to become an active participant in our group by:
• Attending the annual opening meeting, and educational sessions
• Reading Letters of Inquiry (LOI), submitting LOI choices, and attending the LOI voting session
• Participating in a reading group and reading full proposals
• Attending as many site visits as possible
• Participating in the final voting session and attending the closing luncheon

As a member, you may vote on all matters that are brought before the membership.  If you are not able to be present for a voting session, you may vote by proxy.

We are committed to making your membership in JWGF rewarding and fulfilling.  Please contact us if you have any questions or suggestions on how we can help you get the most out of your membership.
