Beyond Birthright
Through a new initiative, Taglit-Birthright Israel alumni can harness their passion for the Jewish state and get involved locally. “Beyond Birthright” offers alumni ways to connect through Happy Hours, intimate Shabbat dinners and other meaningful Jewish experiences.

Hospitality has been a Jewish value since the Biblical era; Jewish ancestors Sarah and Abraham were known for inviting strangers into their home. NEXT: A Division of the Birthright Israel Foundation invites Birthright Israel alumni to host their friends and celebrate Shabbat.
Whether your Shabbat dinner is traditional or inventive, alternative or old-school, host a meal in your home and make Shabbat your own. When you register for your first NEXT Shabbat meal we’ll help you cover the groceries and send you a Shabbox.
