A Caring Community—one that lifts and empowers its most vulnerable members and extends a compassionate hand to those in need.
•The economic recession has left many middle class families jobless, homeless or unable to provide for their children's education. Through Jewish Vocational Service, we can retrain people for new careers that allow them to remain productive, engaged members of our community.
•As the Jewish community continues to age, it will be critical to address the growing needs of the frail elderly, disabled and senior populations. We are developing programs to provide these individuals—many at-risk of becoming shut-ins—with aid, companionship and hope.
