Building a community is like building a house. You start with a plan, from which you draft the designs that ensure the carpenters, plumbers and electricians are working toward the same goal. The Associated plans and coordinates services so that the community can thrive and grow intentionally, guided by our shared values. Planning for the community is a process that never ends.
Our integrated and data-driven community planning and allocation process ensures we are building tomorrow on a solid foundation and providing the resources necessary to do the most good for the most people today.
Our annual Community Impact Report details the results of our work over the past year and lays out the funding plan for the next year.
Every 10 years, we undertake a detailed demographic and statistical study of the community, which becomes the foundation of the community planning and resource allocation process.
The investments we make on behalf of the community fall into four broad categories: providing care for our most vulnerable, investing in our youth, enriching the quality of our Jewish life and deepening our sense of global peoplehood.
