7/1/16: Linda A. Hurwitz Named Associated Chair of the Board
The Associated: Jewish Community Federation of Baltimore has announced that it has named Linda A. Hurwitz as its Chair of the Board. Hurwitz, who begins her two-year term on July 1, will focus on planning and budgeting, fund development and leadership development. Read more.

CHAI: Comprehensive Housing Assistance, Inc., an agency of The Associated: Jewish Community Federation of Baltimore, announced that it will oversee the management and operation of the Edward A. Myerberg Center, beginning July 1. Read more.
3/10/16: Two Associated Agencies Named Most Innovative in the Country

With our 65 + population expected to triple in the next decade, the need for additional end-of-life services will only increase. 6/24/15: Jewish Museum of Maryland Wins National Leadership in History Award
The American Association for State and Local History (AASLH) recently honored the Jewish Museum of Maryland (JMM), Maryland Historical Society and Minotaur Mazes with a Leadership in History Award for its original exhibit, The A-Mazing Mendes Cohen. Read more.
5/28/15: The Darrell D. Friedman Institute Presents Jewish Community Awards
DFI presented two prestigious Jewish communal awards at its annual leadership summit: the Daniel Thursz Distinguished Communal Service Award and the Outstanding Jewish Communal Professional award. Read more.
5/12/15: JWGF Awards Over $100,000 to Baltimore Organizations
A total of $108,600 was granted today to seven organizations which improve the lives of women and girls. Read more.
4/27/15: Fund Now Open for Nepal Earthquake Relief
The Associated has established an emergency relief fund in response to the devastating earthquake in Nepal. One hundred percent of all money collected will be distributed to the victims. Read more.
4/24/15: Local Baltimoreans Receive Young Leadership Awards

4/8/15: Jewish Museum of Maryland Receives Prestigious National Endowment for the Humanities Grant for Upcoming Exhibit
The rich history of Jews and medicine will be on display at the Jewish Museum of Maryland in March 2016, thanks to a $300,000 grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities. Read more.
