Emergency Campaigns

Want to make the world a better place? So do we.

We are the gateway to helping others build better lives here at home and around the world. Participating in one of our Emergency Campaigns is one way to do it!

We are counting on you to help fellow Jews in the United States and around the world.

Israel Under Attack

On October 7, 2023, during the holiday of Shmini Atzeret, Hamas terrorists launched an unprecedented attack on Israel from Gaza, firing thousands of rockets, breaching the country’s borders, killing dozens of Israelis, and wounding hundreds more. Our partners in Israel have pointed to widespread humanitarian needs. This includes food, medicine, shelter, trauma counseling, triage and emergency supplies.

The lives of innocent civilians in Israel are now under threat and our collective response at this critical time will save lives.

Ukraine Crisis

For decades, The Associated has been there for the Jewish community in Ukraine. We’ve helped thousands escape antisemitism while living under the former Soviet Union regime – supported them as they built a new life in the United States and Israel.

We created our Baltimore-Odessa Partnership and helped to revitalize Jewish life in Odessa, while at the same time continuing to care for the city’s most vulnerable. Today, we watch in horror as Russia’s invasion of Ukraine continues to create a massive humanitarian crisis.

Help our brothers and sisters in Ukraine.

Mental Health Crisis

Every year, The Associated system infuses millions of dollars into our community thanks to our annual campaign. In addition to the important services already provided by The Associated system, we also need to address the mental health crisis with innovation and action.

A growing number of youth and adults are living with depression and anxiety. Many are in emotional distress, spiraling to self-harm and suicidal ideation. Countless individuals are turning to substance use as a coping mechanism.
