Henrietta Szold: Living History

Heroic Measures: The Henrietta Szold Story

Please join us as we travel back in time with Henrietta Szold for a unique living history presentation.

She fought for health care. She fought for education. She fought to help immigrants. She fought to aid children trapped by fascism. She fought for the Zionist cause. This fall, the Jewish Museum of Maryland brings to life the incredible story of the Baltimore rabbi’s daughter who broke with the traditional role of women to help strengthen her people, at home and abroad. Before “community organizing” had a name, there was Henrietta Szold — a champion of Jewish engagement.
