Building community within your own community
It’s not always easy parenting teenagers, but it is easy to get them involved with other Jewish teens in meaningful ways. After-school and weekend programming through The Associated and its agencies opens the door to new friendships, experiences and education that will prepare them for the next step in life, and lets them have fun doing it. From leadership training and volunteer projects to subsidized trips to Ashkelon — our sister city in Israel — we enable young people to participate significantly with their peers and the larger community.

Teen Camping: Lasting Friendships, Lifelong Lessons
Jewish camp is especially important for teens. Reconnecting with old friends and making new ones — fun activities all day long, freedom to explore in a safe environment — what more could you want? How about a teen who comes home with a deeper connection to our shared history, culture and values —without even realizing it happened.
