Listen, Believe, Respond

“I was in a verbally abusive marriage and CHANA worked with me and empowered me to be able to stand up and say, ‘I’m not a victim. I’m a survivor.’ They gave me the support I needed to help myself.”

– Heidi S.

There is a feeling among many survivors that they struggle in silence. We’re here to listen, because we know that trauma and abuse occurs within our community.

The statistics are staggering. 1 in 4 women. 1 in 7 men. You most likely know a survivor of domestic violence or abuse.

No one is immune. Abuse affects children, teens, older adults, men, women and families.

Through education, intervention, counseling, legal advocacy and support groups, our trained professionals provide survivors and their loved ones with tools for healing.

Everyone deserves to feel safe.
